What to Expect:

Projects are designed to help the animals but don’t usually involve direct animal interaction
All volunteer groups will have an opportunity to meet and greet some of our residents
We’re happy to work with you and share our current needs

National Honor Society & School-Related Community Service

For High School Students:

Are you a National Honor Society member or student needing community service hours for graduation requirements? We’re here to help you fulfill those hours while making a real difference for animals in need.

What Makes This Different:

This program is specifically designed for students who need a set amount of community service hours and are not planning to volunteer beyond those required hours.

Getting Started:

Fill out our NHS/Community Service application and a team member will contact you as soon as possible to discuss opportunities and scheduling.

Regular Volunteering:

For ongoing, long-term volunteer commitment
Requires orientation and training
Minimum 4-month commitment preferred

Short-term commitment tied to hour requirements
