Consistent Commitment
We’re looking for volunteers who can commit to at least one weekly 2-hour shift or 4 hours per month.

Foster Program
Provide temporary loving homes for animals who need extra care, from bottle-feeding kittens to helping stressed dogs decompress.
Group Projects

National Honor Society students:

Court-Ordered Service
Complete your community service requirement (18+, non-violent misdemeanors only).

Earn badges while learning about animal care through tours and hands-on programs.
Volunteer Requirements
Age Requirements:
- 13+ years to volunteer with animals
- 13-15 years must be accompanied by parent/guardian who also volunteers
- Under 18 requires signed parent/guardian waiver
- Attend volunteer orientation
- Complete hands-on training session
- Tetanus vaccination required for animal care volunteers
- Commit to minimum 4-month volunteer period
- Ability to lift, bend, and handle animals of all sizes
- Comfortable with dogs over 40 lbs
- Comfortable with unknown animal backgrounds and varying temperaments
- Able to work around animal allergens
